Pam Kirkham began her (very well-earned!) retirement at the end of June, stepping down as former Manager of Kingdom Krafts. She served as shop Manager for more than 19 years, a role she shared with Marian Whitaker who went to be with the Lord three years ago.

Civic dignitaries, shop volunteers, friends, churches members and Welsh Fair Trade Coalition representatives all attended the retirement event on June 30, thanking Pam for her achievements and wishing her a very long and happy retirement. Amongst other things, Pam also received a letter from Janet Finch-Saunders (AM) along with flowers, gardening tools and cookery books. Sounds like quite an active retirement ahead!

But don’t forget the cake. No retirement would be complete without cake! 🍰

The festivities included a visit from Llandudno’s current Mayor, Councillor Harry Saville.

Kingdom Krafts in Madoc Street sells cards, Christian books (for adults and children) together with other resources for churches and schools.

Sadly, we don’t sell Mayoral chains, or other civic regalia. But there is also a café where you can purchase tea, coffee, soft drinks, and of course, more cake.
